How lunchtimes are making a big difference to a child's life
The Project has stepped in to ensure that every child at Magejjo Primary School receives a hot, healthy meal at lunchtime. The meal allows children to maintain their energy for lessons in the afternoon, but also ensures that each child has a proper meal on a daily basis. Many of these children walk miles to and from school, often barefoot. With the help of fundraisers, the Project has funded a cook for the school so porridge can be prepared on site daily.

The children queue at lunchtimes to receive their meal, and then eat in groups before continuing to play football or tidy the school grounds.
But it is only with your help that this scheme can keep running - we need to ensure that every child is eating properly. So, for your chance to ensure that a child is being cared for at school, please help us today by sponsoring a child. £10 will feed a child for a year.
As you can see from the photo above, the meal is most welcome!
