The Youth group are involved in income generating activities through loans supplied by the Kanyike Project. This is Richard's account of how he used the money:
"I was given £25.00. With this I bought food to feed to two pigs. One of the pigs produced seven piglets and I sold two of them. With the money I bought a hose to use on my land and a shirt"
